This Ultra-thin (reference 1925, of the 1965, for Bulgari, manual winding) is a beautiful piece of my collection. In my opinion a wonderful watch, example of elegance and class. The very balanced case, the superb dial, the logo Jlc in gold, the crown with the cabochon, are very attractive.

A beautiful Ultra-thin vintage
Hi all.
I have others Ultra-thin much more modern, but i wear this vintage like others. And, last but not last, i have also the official Extract of JLC Heritage, really exquisite! (many thanks for this to my Boutique JLC in MIlan)

If you don't mind, could you tell me more about why Bvlgari is on the dial? I think its really unique and beautiful....
You will gather all the superlatives, and it is truly deserved.
This Watch is sublime, and in great condition, which is far from being the case on these flat references. Yes, falt, not ultra thin, my friend, and mainly because of this case back, because the case in itself could qualify, but the Cal 838, if I am not wrong, takes some place!
At the end who really cares? The most important is the Watch, and not the fact to know if it is ultra thin or flat.

Really i don't know the reason .....
of the reference Bulgari. Peraphs is to celebrate the famous jewellery in Rome, in via Condotti, or is for the family Bulgari ..... in the next weeks another little investigation about this doubt .....
Puzzled by the Numbers - Doubts about the Certificate

Congratulations on this rare beauty!
I do have some doubts though concerning the date of production that JLC issued in the certificate. A case number of ~ 1 million would place the watch well in the middle of the sixties. But the movement number of > 2 million makes that more than unlikely.
With a movement number that high, one would rather expect a production date for the movement at the very end of the sixties or even the beginning of the seventies. Such a strong divergence between production date of the case and the movement leaves room for speculation. It makes it unlikely that the case was especially produced for BVLGARI. Maybe BVLGARI ordered a bunch of watches at the end of the sixties which were build from existing cases and fitted with new movements and customized dials (and crowns - which may even have been supplied by the famous Italian Jeweler).
Looking forward to what you will find out about the origins of this superb dress watch!
