Ok, I play first.

1/ In the Vintage world:

I have some dreams: To be able to close some themas of collection.

- Chronometry: I still need a marine Chronometer from Jaeger, and a Master Mariner Chronometre, somethiing I have to show you,, definitely, as I investigated a lot about this watch.

A 24002 would be the cherry on an already very delicious cake.



- Diving: If I find this bloody Red Polaris II, I end the thema which was and is very dear to me.



- Memovox: E 11005, and a E 855 Scale Dial. A Memo WT would be a good target, too.



- Jubilé: A 2233 in stainless steel would be very welcome.

II/ Modern watches.

- The Black Series: Master Geographique, Master Memo, Master RDM and Master Ultra Thin. The Black Aces.



- The Platinum Legend: Reverso Platinum Tourbillon, skeleton if possible, but the non skeleted version would happily make my day.



While we are speaking about legends and if dreams are allowed, yes, I would add the Gyro I, first edition, an homage to Eric Coudray and Magali Metrailler's talent.



- The best of the current collection: THE Champion: Duometre ( a slight preference for the Chroongraph à Foudroyante, here ).



Nothing ( or almost ) can beat a Duometre.

- The Tribute Saga: Reverso Red.



Now that I revealed my fantaisies, it is up to you, my friends.

Don't be shty, we are in family.

As I don t venture in the Vintage world(thanks God for that!)  my selection:

For a night at Harry s bar in Venice

For a night with myself anywhere in the world

3)But I agree on Skeleton pt Reverso,then I would say 70eme pt so here you have my fav 3 Reverso.

 

4)Gyro1

These 5 will keep me happy in the JLC world...only for afew months,then........who knows...

Just today, it is my birthday I am wearing my Septantieme and you write this article about which JLC is our next dream watch, well, for me it's the Duometre a chronograph with black dial.........just.......well...I also have the Dato in my dreams.

The Duometre is certainly an excellent choice...

If only I could...

...this year I wait to take delivery of the Grande Reverso Calendar in stainless steel. Nothing fancier to report. But I hope next year there will be a new Master Calendar with eight days movement to coincide with the 180th anniversary of the manufacture. And perhaps some pocket watches or non-Atmos small desk clocks to choose from. Oh I'm dreaming again...

But I think I will return to the AMVOX fold at some point.  The AMVOX2 Black Concept always seems to remain on my "very short list" so that must mean something.

I am dying to know more about the AMVOX7, too.  Any hints, Nicolas?????

... and beautiful watches and photos, of course...  you know, though I highly respect and admire JLC watches and history, I´m trying to concentrate in Rolex for budget reasons.
Oh yes!, I learned a long time ago that, regretably, I can´t have everything I like!

Anyway, the Reverso Tribute red dial is in my horizon and just waiting for the Milano Boutieque news to ake delivery of it. I already made a deposit in last February, and was told that I was 5th in their list. This I´m getting as a present from my niece who lives in Milano. I´ll be visiting her in September, before going to Paris hopefuly, with my new prize on my wrist!
I hope to have news in the next few weeks, as it was originaly promised for April, then posposed for May, and now... who knows!

Regarding other JLC´s:
Now that I got my first Memovox, which I showed a few days ago (rose gold case), I feel it spoiled me, and I´m looking for a second one, steel case, and black dial. Will I succeed?

Not more JLC in my plans for now...  except if a nice white dialed Geophisics appears in my path! That´s very, very rare down here.

i would choose all the Black-dial models of the JLC Master Control series...certainly not an easy feat even if you've got the money today. Those black beauties hardly come up for sale and when they do, they get snapped up so fast.

 

but this year realistically, remains to be seen, the Rouge. waiting for the ultimate wrist test. I suspect and am afraid it will appear much much bigger on my wrist and I dont like to buy watches to keep in the safe, eventho this one might have a good investment potential

 

if all else fails, maybe its something i've been putting off for a long time, Rolex Exp 1& 2 (her and him) pair, specifically mid-nineties model....my so called self-termed "modern vintage"

This blend of modern and vintage is very interesting.

Yes, the Powrmatic is not a watch which is often mentionned, but it is a very interesting one, mostly in its jumbo size ( 37 mm ).

A Futurematic, well, is an icon.

MUTs, Platinum Nr 2 and Reverso Minute Repeaters are all great watches; which get more and more interest, with time passing.

An Aesthete's choice, for sure.
