As I indicated in my report of the interview with Mr. Janek Deleskiewicz, I bought a JLC after meeting with him, having been impressed...  Not exactly a new one, but just a starter   I had not been such an avid JLC fanatic, but, man, this one is very nice and accurate and totally cool.  I had some free time finally and took several shots.  Please take a look.  Thank you!

Looks like you picked a winner... "totally cool" is certainly in the running for understatement of the year. I love the subtle red/gold accents on the black dial.

And those are some great photos, too! She looks great, patiently posing like that.

I find the MM Black to be a fantastic watch. The 37/38 mm Master series came out at the time where I got serious about this hobby and I was sold immediately - and the love is still there. They are timelessly elegant I think. Your Moon with the black face is probably my favourite along with the Geo with black face.

The Black Series was:

The Master Memovox, the Master Moon, the Master Perpetual Calendar, the Master Geographique, the Master Ultra Thin, and the Master Reserve de Marche.

It was in production for a very few years, and very well sums the best of JLC, at this moment.

The black dial totally change the perception you can have on the " normal " white dials, in my opinion, as it gives a strong beauty to the series.

A suyperb introduction to the JLC world, my friend.

... this black dial master moon is also my cup of tea... some time back, i had a chance of seeing this beauty from a local seller, he gave me a very good offer, unfortunately, i had also accepted another offer of my first blue dial vintage Memovox. that's why i missed this one, i still remember how gorgeous of this black dial beauty!

There is just something special about the Master Moon, and particularly the black dial version.  This is, for me, one of the great JLCs. Everything is right about this onw.  Congratulations!

I am always amazed by the passion of JLC enthusiasts.  I actually like this pick and wore it for a full day for the first time yesterday - when I am back home, it had gained 0.5 sec, except that when I ran with the watch to the subway station, it gained a few seconds in such a brief period (perhaps 15 sec or so running) - rotar move power maybe somehow/somewhat trasnmitted to the second hand mecahnism - a bit head scratching for a guy like me who like near-perfect mechanism.  Any guess?  So, 0.5 sec gain is after re-adjusting when I arrived at the office.

But in the practical use, I am satisfied with the performance and this one can have a spot in the day job rotation
