Sorry for this evidence, but there are several ways to express Poetry in Time, and undisputably, JLC excels in this Art.

From the pocket watches, and their unbelievable " cortège " of complications, to the wrist watches, without forgetting the traveler clocks, table clocks, clocks and barometers, thermometers etc...

Here are some significative examples, of this impressive " Eloge du Temps ".

Poetry is not only a matter of Past, of History, it is also a living moment, as you will see on the pictures I post below.

What about an enameled moment of pure poetry, for the peace of mind?



No need to be rich or extemely rich to know the feeling of happyness, satisfaction.

The pleasure can be simple, it is not less intense, and the Master Ultra Thin is a perfect example, in stainless Steel or Rose Gold:



If Money doesn't make people happy, it may contribute to their happyness.

Some thoughts:

1/ Seeing JLC maintaining this bridge between their past, their Patrimony, and their Present is a feast, and enhances the awesome diversity, richness of the " Grande Maison ".

And I didn't even mention the Historical models, such as the Deep Sea Alarm, Polaris, Geophysic, Futurematic, " simple " Memovoxes, and so on!

Who else can offer such an impressive number of pure delights?

2/ One family is missing, though: The Ados, travelers clocks, and table clocks, which weren't re interpretated.

A gap to fill, Mr Lambert?

Not the most expensive piece of Dream, not the most affordable, too, but how wharming, envouting and captivating it is.

Tomorrow is Thanksgiving here in the States, but you have given us a a feast for the eyes, for which I am thankful.

That first Atmos is simple and lovely -- when was it made?

You included an enamel Reverso -- you sly dog, you know that is what I have been wishing for....

Is the globe yours?  Have you had it long? 

When you show off these photos, JLC is absolutely dazzling.

To me, the first Atmos I posted was made in the 30ies...Very Art Deco, isn't it?

As for the enamel Reverso, I do hope that JLC will listen to us...Soon.

The Globe is mine, indeed. I've hidden it for almost one year, now.

without going too deeply into the "tool" watches.

I love the pic of the edge of the Duometer. It really shows JLC's upscaled modern finish ability. (I mean, come on, JLC provided PP w/most of their movements and complications up 'til the Stern family took control, and these had to be finished to Geneve Seal standards. Some were decorated in Geneva, some at Le Sentier, then broken down and re-assembled in Geneva for the Poincon's mandate that the movements be assembled and regulated in Geneva.)

Today's Dual-Wing movements (along with a host of haute de gamme pieces) ARE the future of JLC. This is only a little muscle-flexing, IMO.

I agree on all you said about the fact that Lecoultre provided many movements to the most prestigious brands.

JLC has a prestigious past, and an amazing present, in my opinion.

The Duometre is a nice page of this History, not only the movement, but also the case, the overall finish, the dedication to the " Belle Horlogerie " with this touch of originality, due to the dual wing concept.

I would like to see ( and in fact, we, JLC fans, all know that it will happen ) more of this kind of products.

Dream also belongs to Future.

A remake of the master quartz from the 70s? Although it's more for nostalgic sake than anything else since most JLC are mechanical now.

I was totally captivated by this piece and wanted to share with you a little "poetic quote" on watches and watch collecting.

"When art and craft and intricate design all come together in a powerful little package of precious metal and perfectly fitted leather, why does my poor old heart speed up and tax itself to keep up with the bliss running through my brain, lighting up places that were just dark recesses, sparking thoughts and ideas that needed to be shared?
