Hello all!

I noticed that many fellow PuristS are interested in giving their favorite JLC's a new look by putting on a new strap.  I find that certain colors with the right colored stitching really adds to the overall look and this detail makes a piece stand out. For me, the problem with non-OEM is that you can never find the perfect one ( too long, too short, curved end when you need straight, straight when you need curved, etc)  Also even though there are aftermarket makers out there it's always nice to have a factory one to go with the watch.

So what's the solution?  Well, I was recently at the JLC Boutique which stocked some unique factory straps that they had custom ordered in different materials and colors:



Since it's a factory product, the high quality is what you associate with manufacture JLC.

A sporty Sharkskin with deviated red stitching, awesome!

Grey Alligator with red stitching

A striking Blue Ostrich and white stitching

Here's something a little more bold, a Green Ostrich with color matched stitching

Of course you can get a regular Black Sharkskin with matching or deviated stitching:

Tough and rugged looking Grey, Blue, and Black Sharkskin.  What.......what's this?  A curved Black Leather with yellow stitching/yellow colored side and back accents ?  Cool!

This combo one really got my attention:

Hot pink on a JLC 101:

Dark choco-brown with a copper stitching, very cool how this one came out as it contrasts nicely to the rose gold!

Classic colors are nice too!

Thanks for posting that.  At first I thought we were only going to get to see straps, but then you photographed some really nices watches, too, as a bonus.  I wish JLC would offer more informatio on straps and bracelets on its web site.  It does offer some pretty good information on the straps available for the diving watches, but not so much for the other lines.

Sorry for my not being clear,  they have custom order straps for many models, not just the JLC diving ones!  Hope this helps.  Thanks for looking!

I meant only that JLC does not provide a lot of info readily on their website about additional straps for anything other than the diving watches.  Your post was very interesting in letting us know that there are other straps availalbe for many JLCs.

I know JLC is working on new straps, and buckles, too, and I saw in Paris some straps with the colors of the flag, for example, Yellow and Green for Brazil, Yellow and Red for Spain, Blue White and Red  for France, etc....

What I'm looking for is originality, quality, but also, simplicity.

Didn't see these straps in Paris...Will have to ...have an eye on it...

I haven't seen them even in boutique here.

This was a creative idea of the JLC boutique manager to have these ordered.  I'm not sure about the boutiques elsewhere.  What color combo and material would you choose?

THe combo for the skeleton is extremely well done and the strap actualy enhances the watch without losing significance for it self.

I find the shark skins interesting.

I was wondering if it's possible to have the Pola strap as on the pictures instead of the one with all the holes in, which is on the watch from the factory?

Isn't the JLC Carbon Fiber look cool?  I'm sure it would be possible to special order it that way, but best to contact them directly.  Thanks for looking!

Yes, that green ostrich is very bold and funky kinda cool.  They have more custom straps coming in so I will try to take pics to share with everyone.

these are  g o o d news (at least for JLC watch owners)

It isn´t common these days that watch manufacturers offer such a variety of nice straps.

Most of the time I see "boring" or "cheap looking" straps - with too many brands.

My compliment goes to JLC

A nice selection of straps I had no idea even existed. Great to see JLC offering less common and even bold and unique combinations. Hopefully new buckle and folding deployant options will come as well . It will good to see what else they offer for the new year.
