It would take a lot to pull me from one JLC (pseudo) to another JLC (classic). I made a decision that some may not agree, giving up my pam 190 (pseudo JLC) for a real limited JLC (Polaris tribute 68). Like my 190, it still gives me a big grin everytime I put it on...especially the warm from its dome glass and its solid ring.
Here's mine reporting....178

Thanks Nic. I have asked my AD to alert me on a Polaris for months to no avail. But, I could not get my mind off the polaris (esp the 68) since I saw your review and pics.
So, fast forward to 2 days ago when I spotted a nice used piece while visiting a dealer friend's shop. I was so moved by it, I just traded in the 190 I was wearing for it. I thought I would regret big time (like the last time I sold my 190) but the polaris was a great replacement and I only had great feeling since I did the trade.
Glad to be part of this wonderful club to own a piece of history. Was even more delighted when JLC's CEO said in his interview that he has no intention to do another re-edition. Now, I hope I will not keep thinking of its brother (the polaris 65)
And I'm very happy to see you enter this Club, too.
Mr Lambert is a man who has a word, and he said it several times, the Polaris is indeed a " one shot " re edition.
So, you own a piece which has an History, and a nice Story.
Wear it with Pride!
Best,
Nicolas
