..I was not invited by JLC but by the winner of this edition but I wandered a lot around Aston Martin paddock !
you have spent such good days !!! and this AMVOX is great !! perhaps my future JLC ?
My kingdom for a JLC cap and for a JLC-Aston Martin shirt !! impossible to buy them in a store, my only disappointment for these gorgeous days. If JLC reads me... [but my kingdom is very small..

you lucky dogs.... I AM SO JEALOUS !!!!!!
Thanks for the amazing report Nico.

Hey Nicolas,
Maybe all those JLC badges were bad luck on Rolex grounds. For the Aston Martin cars that is! I'm sorry, I am just extremely jealous at you. I follow Le Mans racing for probably all my life and it is a must thing for me to go there some day. Even if I don't get there by helicopter and can't stay in a castle with pool! You sure had some great fun there. Well, I sure hope the AM cars have better luck next year. And about this diesel stuff; just give me those good old howling and crying V12, V10 and V8 petrol engines. What the hell is next over there; electric cars making no sound at all!? Trust me I sure care about the environment but if we all try our best to save our planet we can still see (and hear) those marvelous cars racing. Thanks a lot for the post. Not to sure about the new Amvox. I'm still more into the Amvox I with its clean dial which counts the same for the Amvox II IMO. These new watches seem a bit too busy for me. But it's all a matter of taste isn't it.
Best,
Starman

…and the beginning of the race last Saturday.
I’m no specialist on Le Mans but assume the big straight on the upper part of the circuit diagram is the legendary Mulsanne straight, mutilated by two d@#% chicanes. How I wish some mad guy took over the circuit management and ‘tractorize’ that ugly things to allow the torpedoes cross the 400 km/h barrier in Le Mans again!!!
Regarding the castle, the barbecue, the booze, the watches, the chopper, the cars, the nice company… What can I say? I ENVY YOU NICOLAS
By the way, you’re right about the silent diesel engines– that’s a HUGE downside for a sports car
Thanks so much for the report, my friend – extraordinary!!!
