I think that the space between the lugs is not the same on these 2 watches, and don't forget that the EWC is fitted with a quick and easy system to change the strap...
so I seriously doubt that you can adapt an EWC / EWA Strap on a Diving GMT...

EWC rubber strap... will it fit?
Hello Gents,
I really like the rubber straps that come with the EWC and W-Alarm range. I particularly like the way the rubber strap is curved and fits around (hugs) the round shape of the case. Will one of these straps fit on my Compressor Diving GMT? If it does, would I need to by curved spring bars?

yes and no
The lugs width on the EWC is 22mm, the same as the Compressor Diving. The straps that are used on the EWC have fixed bars, while the Diving has spring bars. I purchased the Cordura strap that comes with the Diving and love it on my EWC. There are some concerns I would have regarding the fit of the rubber strap on the Diving.
I would also be concerned with how the rubber strap fits the contours of the case and around the strap release.

Casey, the Cordura on the EWC is perfect!
I love more and more this Cordura strap, and on the EWC, the combo is very interesting!

It's such a shame that it won't fit as I think it would look really neat on the Diving GMT. I can't get on with the supplied rubber strap as I find it too chunky and have problems wearing the watch under my clothes sleeves.

The cordura/leather strap would be fine!
That strap from the A2 would be a great one on the EWC. Let us know if you find out it works on the EWC. I will ask, too next time I have the opportunity.
