
Somehow the design of this one doesn't quite work. I love the Newson and Marquetrie though, as well as one ultra-luxury Atmos with mother-of-pearl inlay and gold that JLC made a few years ago that cost a million francs or something.

No other reason than pure design, Art Deco, or Bauhaus...
It is intrigating, at least.
And yes, of course, I think that it was used to enhance the use of technical materials.
BUT, when I see it, it makes me think at an Architect's Opus.

This is an unusual look, indeed, a bit like the Reverso was in the '30ies.
In fact, this clock makes me think about the Reverso, due to its particular Art Deco Style.
