The JLC line up this year was indeed spectacular. While there were many fantastic watches, here are wrist shots of my favorite six, and believe me - it was difficult to choose the watches to be left out!
HAGWE,
Asi
Could you tell us more about the 4th watch ? Is it a Master Hometime special edition ?
What are your impressions of the revamped MUT (5th pic) ? Is it s 38 or 40mm dia
Best Regards
Which model is that beauty?!?!
Marcelo
And thank you, Asi, for the pictures! The elegance of this Master Dual Time is just amazing!!!

...the voice of the forums that is !
no nonsense watch this year, and back to classic aesthetics, good proportions, thin rims, and watches in line with the 'DNA' of the brand as some say (while the previous years watches certainly had a lot of mutant genes in them).
I usually complain a lot about new products launched, but I will refrain this year, actually it seems they did quite a good job and most of them suit my very conservative tastes
Ok, one little grief though: I wish they had launched the new enlarged simple ultrathin with an equally enlarged calibre, the already old cal 849, which was already quite small in the 34mm case, will be very lost in the new Master Ultrathin 38mm with its mere 21mm of diameter (that's 8mm of ring between the movement and the edge of the case...).
I only complain slightly as I know JLC have the capabilities to design and manufacture a modern, large ultrathin movement and are known to develop a lot of movements each year, most of which fit their cases quite fully.
After all, they did it 100 years ago with the 145 so managing a 30mm ultrathin caliber shouldn't be a very big challenge for them
Anyway, the 175th anniversary is definitively a good year for JLC
On all you said.
It was quite impressing to see all these new JLC Watches at the SIHH...
And impossible to cover them alone, as many people were asking about a presentation of the whole pieces.
This year is very impressive, and I really have to thank them for their great job.
Hope that in a near future, JLC will present us a larger version of the 849.
Best.

First, thank you for your post. Fantastic photos but your post is the first I am hearing of this update. Its not in the 1833 introductions on the JLC website, nor in the coverage I've read of JLC's SIHH releases anywhere. Its beautiful!
I am surprised to not see the Polaris, but the 6 you chose are all beautiful. I am happy to see one of the Dive series snuck in there
IMO, I would say that JLC and Glashutte had the most impressive offerings across their entire respective lines.
I missed you, this year...
But next time we'll do it together.
So, now, tell us what's your favourite!
Best.
Nicolas
Morning guys, 'long time no post' hope you are all doing well.
JLC have really got this right! I love my MUT but have ofter wished it was a few mm bigger. Does anyone have the case thickness for both of the new models?
Best regards, Tom

And a bit thicker for the automatic version, but it is really impressive!
Jerome will give you some further infos as it's his topic!
Best.
Nicolas
Hi Nicolas, thank you very much for your fast response.
With so many manufacturers bringing out 'fairground on the wrist' watches, it is delightful to see that JLC recognises that there is still a huge market for the classic watches. IMHO the latest 40mm Master Control did not have the 'gorgeous' feel that the 37mm MCGT had but JLC have REALLY got it right on the new MUT's. I predict a sizeable waiting list for these new MUT's !
Yopu have also to pay a visit to your AD to see the new Master Control...JLC made a great job to re work them, in a very pleasant way.
I was very positively surprised by the shape of the new Master Control cases.
I just wait to have the opportunity to take them in pics to show them to you all...
Best.
Nicolas
(even your hairy wirst, Asi mate)
I don;t think the MUT can be beaten
except if they had made the Amvox 3 with a complete dial and no cut-out
I would be happy to look through the sapphire back and chuckle to myself about the movement if the front end wasn't fragmented
which is why I like the Panerai 1950 titanium tourbillion, althoguh way out of my options
but typing from crowded airports is no fun!
Will gather my notes over the weekend and try to make sense.
Asi
Thanks Asimut, always the best way to get an impression of a watch.
Cheers,
Michel
JLC. I found there was no competition whatsoever, both in model and execution presented.
And I was a bit disapointed to see that the orientation of the market is on the high prices only... we will be able to continue our hobbies without thinking of selling a kidney or 2...?
I am glad to stick with JLC has they seem to remain true to their different customers needs and wants with their whole timepiece portofolio.
