Jaeger-LeCoultre

i have had this watch for 17 years and never worn it. a friend of mine noticed it one day and said thats an old jaeger le coultre watch its a very good make and that one is old and could be valueable. the watch keeps perfect time and is 18c gold inside and out. it was made without a second hand as in photo. i looked on the net at thousands of watches and didnt see one like this. could anyone help with the age or value of this watch as i do not know anything about the watch. many thanks jonathan crook. Your Jaeger-LeCoultre is indeed a beautiful oldtimer. It comes probably from the 40s or 50s looking at its calibre.

You can ask directly Jaeger-LeCoultre on their website
www.jaeger-lecoultre.com

Click on "Historical collection"

Then you can give the serial numbers we see on the pics, join a pic of the watch ( front pic would be better) and they will come back to you with the best information they can find.

Actually this watch should have a second hand, it's just that over the time it seems to have lost it (probably broken then removed).

I went on Jaeger's web-site and using their "Contact Us" link sent a photo of an 18kt cushion shaped watch I had bought in the 70's. A few days later I received an e-mail from Jaeger giving me the model name, production dates, number of units produced and original retail value of the watch. Hope this helps!
