First off, the watch has presence on your wrist. So size then is irrelevant to me, I think with the light colour dial and those lugs this is plenty (size) of watch for your wrist.
Looking at the other examples in your earlier post I believe yours with the lighter dial AND those Dauphine hands is THE version to own. This style of watch overall needs to be on the dressier side, the darker / black dial and those watches with the lumed (am I seeing that correctly) are too sporty like.
It also seems your decision ultimately to have the dial restored was justified. It looks great, but importantly (as you state) still vintage !
