Great shot! It really shows what bothers me about the line from JLC...
The dials look so poor in person. In your photo, if you look at the date window, the cut out is clearly very sloppy. It's such a shame JLC really cut a corner here with the Polaris as it is an otherwise respectable offering.
Ah, the dilemma
3 crowns and date vs 2 crowns and no date. I normally prefer no date but 3 crowns looks so sexy, go figure!

No date preferred. Alarm feature is cool but wonder how often I'd use it. However with either I don't know how I'd ever stop staring at that gorgeous blue dial! Looked at one once and
thought I must have this but other watch purchases got in the way. Probably should have just bought it right then and there. Wonderful image!
The alarm? I use it almost every day. This is the function I use the most, I must say.
Yes, I can definitely see uses for an alarm. I keep forgetting that my old Breitling Aerospace has one. Also it seems that the no date versions don't have the same insane gradient
blue dial.

Polaris Mariner Broken Fragile
I just wanted to share my own personal experience. In my opinion it has an extremely weak design . The prominent crystal makes it too exposed to any hit. It dropped from 45Cm. In my opinion not a proper sport diving luxury . Just for the info I shared my experience in Wacthsuuk and was acussed of being a Troll I guess that when people are in love with something they cannot see evidence contrarian with their beliefs.
