Would you please clarify a confusion about the lugs?
The edges of the lugs in this piece seem smoother and slightly curved/rounded in contrast to the older original reference in which the lug edges are apparently sharp straight edges. Is what I am seeing correct, and is that the original design of this piece…or has there been any polishing?

The watch has not been polished.
The corners of the horns on the stand to Polaris 65 and 68 are slightly rounded and not strictly protruding.

Actually Nico, I do need your judgment /decision on the lugs of the Tribute to Polaris.
Please see the above question that I asked Alfihar regarding how the lugs look in various pictures. They are not razor-sharp angular cut edges, but appear to be ‘softer’ edged. Certainly they still have a unique 3-sided type of shape, but again the angular transition of each edge is slightly rounded to my eyes. Is this how it is in reality for the Tribute to Polaris? Thank you.
