The Mariner is ahead from a technical point of view but I much prefer the clean dial of the "old" one. And the rubber strap is very confy.

except color... and hands... until you posted this... I thought the new version dial was somehow newer! Am I missing something?

And no faux patina. And orange touches, and the fine line on the bezel between 0 ad 15. Then, dial apart, you also have the screw in crown for the bezel and the see through case back. [nt]
