A quick Sunday look on JLC Classics.. Some fresh pics. :))

We know, that one of the classic lines by JLC, have been their
Calendars, which in part go back to design in the 40ies.
On a personal note, I always have appreciated these classics,
with their unobtrusive, yet charming design & DNA.
So I just wanted to share some few & fresh weekend pics,
featuring these specimens.
I'll start here with 2 Triple Date Calendars, both from the early 40ies,
both with acclaimed design codes, which some consider among
the best, which JLC has ever offered.
Teardrop lugs, white/silver dial, RG indices
TD Ref 464/A
TD, Black Dial
Black TD - a new love
A perfect teardrop Triple Date Duo
And here the DNA prevails also
in the modern Master series
Master Moon TD (1983)
Here one big round & one rectangular:
Master Moon & Reverso Duo Date
Here Reverso vs smaller round DD, black dial
Various shape, various age..
A dynamic Trio
Have to say, love these Classic Calendars;

tripple date calendars are really something for the enthusiast
gives the enthusiast ample opportunity to focus on the watch when adjusting the data.
Ang a vintage JLC tripple date calendar collection is a cool theme, as Nico is rightfully attesting.

... triple data theme! These JLC are so elegant and classy and cool watches as well! Your nice pictures show them in all their beauty!
Difficult to chose only one to say this is the prettiest! Each one got its own charm look!

Well, in fact there was a typo & error on my side, mixing it up with another one.. The year of this Master Moon is 2004 & not 1983..

Those drop lugs are drop dead gorgeous !
In addition to being absolutely great designs, the quality of these just post-war vintage JLCs is top notch, including top grade movement finishing (among the best in JLC vintage movements production, any year).
And they are fairly rare, especially in good condition.
Now, the hard part is to decide which one to hunt !
With the black one, you certainly got one of (if not the) most attractive ones !

.. absolutely right, that the movements, eg the 464 A are
of a splendid quality !
