JLC Grande Reverso Tribute to 1948
I got this watch about a year ago when Nico was in Singapore for the launch of the TT Geophysic.
Never regretted getting this watch - my 2nd JLC and first Reverso.
The stamped dial (textured), blued indices and hands and overall discreet yet sophisticated look just keeps drawing me to this watch. This is a watch to appreciate as an owner, to see the dial under different lighting, see the dial with a loupe and to enjoy how it plays with light. Seeing it only in the boutique may not immediately draw one to the watch as it looks very discreet. Seeing it in different ways and owning it can only make this watch even more appealing!

Not the kind of watch which immediately jumps into one's eyes... Rather a watch for connoisseurs. I adore it.

Some watches need to be owned to be appreciated..
and this is certainly one of them. I was set on getting the Blue Duo as my next Reverso but now ... I'm not so sure.

Everything about this is nice.
The macro brings out the detail of the dial very well! Certainly one for those in the know, and as you say, the beauty can only be fully appreciated in the metal.
Totally - this watch needs to be appreciated in the metal
And more than that, in ownership
That's when you will find out the best about this watch.
Many discreet and fine watches are the same I feel. Only after a period of ownership and bonding can we truly appreciate the finest details of the watch

It will be thicker, too, with a see through case back... At least one millimeter thicker,
