If you had a RM002 in Platinum & a RM003 in White Gold, which would you keep if you could only keep 1?

I feel it embodies the RM spirit. 

ok...WOOOWWWW!! now that that comment is done...I would go with the 02 Plat. I really like the RM 03 for traveling and with other offices/clients abroad, but the RM02 is just so pure and super rare in platinum.

If I could only have ONE watch and basically had to give up watch collecting entirely, it would be an RM 02 Plat, no second thoughts.

Both are great watch. Cannot go wrong w either one. I hv smalll wrist thats why i prefer 002

if I was burdened with this decision, personally I would choose to keep the RM002

To me it appears more of a classic as it's so similar to Richard's very first model but with a few great improvements on top.

Also to me platinum will always be considered a more sought after material than white gold.

I don't know how often you rely on the second timezone on the RM003 but I personally could easily live without that extra wheel and rather have the thinner case.

At the end of the day, both are extremely fantastic watches so congratulations. Nice velcro strap on the RM002 by the way

Keep the 2 and sell me the 3!!

All day long the RM002.....never really liked the 3, the white 2nd zone plate spoils it, and the button on the side is just fugly...2 all day long easy choice as its the best watch in the world...( well now if I could get my hands on an RM27 02 I might reconsider, but other than that its the best watch in the world ! )

when a forum member writes a question like this: what speaks to you most and all the rest. And for the most part, that is true. I truly believe that you should be with the watch that speaks to you. You have to wear it and look at it!

However, in this instance, and with this choice, I think its obvious. Keep the RM002 - especially if in platinum. First, the platinum cased versions of this watch, with a carbon plate are rare. Dont know of many (a handful). Second, the RM002 is the watch that made it all happen for Richard. Any other special edition (with a couple of exceptions) has this movement behind it, including the RM003. Third, it is a very 'pure' watch. It has all the essentials that Richard was looking for in his performance watch.

The RM003 is great: and quite a unique combination: tourbillon and second timezone..... but, the RM002 is a pure watch.

But if you do sell the RM002 - it seems you have plenty of interest already on this forum!

For all reasons stated by those with more knowledge than myself.. the Pt case is beautiful, the thinness and purity is unmatched; and you can take solace knowing you possess a very rare RM.

I wore 1 on each wrist yesterday which is like deciding between two beautiful girls. They both have positive things about them.
