Finally after a long wait it has arrived! I am so excited!

Well done Conkers! RMs are slowly warming up to me. All of you RM lovers are spreading the poison very well here!

I will be writing more about this watch, and its slightly more complicated sibling in the coming months.

Thanks everyone for the nice comments. It amazes me that a 50mm watch of such immense proportions can fit my smallish (7.25 inch) wrist so spectacularly and feel so unobtrusive under a shirt cuff. RM's case design remains peerless in my mind. I compare it to things like my Legacy ROO, and a couple of my old Hublots, and this fits and wears 10x better. The side shot shows how it wraps the wrist perfectly. I am delighted with it. Working through the instruction manual will take some time though!

I have to admit I immediately went back to re-read the press release on this to be able to grasp the functions... so many components in the slide rule alone!

Congratulations on getting a most complicated Richard Mille RM039 watch.

Fortunately, you can only test it to a "effective cabin altitude" equivalent to 6000 - 8000 ft in pressurised civilian aircraft even if they flew higher..

If you had a SyberJet SJ30 private aircraft, it would just show sea-level cabin pressure even if the aircraft were cruising at 41,000 ft.....but they only made 8  of those aircraft.

Still, it's fun keeping a tab on the aircraft pressure system.

I wonder what the following watch is......

It hasn't got the fancy crown.

The tourbillon is spectacular - over 1000 components.........but little brother is still a complex beast! Thanks for the photos and the extra information.

I hesitate to call his a watch as i feel the term Horological Machine is more apt.

Does MB&F have all rights to that phrase?

The epic scale of this beast is easier to discern in this shot, by reference my wrist is 7.25".

Wow Roger you actually got a 39, massive congrats on an amazing piece, what a pick up. It looks spectacular on our wrist and I am certain you will have fun playing around with it - their is just so much going on with the dial on that piece, it is mind boggling! Enjoy

I didn't like the divers' look really but when I saw this one as a project last year I truly found the details'evolution changed it all.

It is a very attracting RM and I wish you to wear it as often as you can.

I have owned two 28s in the past. I loved them but my better half did not. I showed her a photo of this a year ago expecting the same response but she loved it. Can't quite explain but i was delighted and then the only challenge was getting one. I first ordered one a year ago but the dealer let me down so I turned to Mr Fixit in the form of Theodore at RM plus my very helpful  local Boutique and got there in the end!  

Fits even better on my right wrist!

I wear my watch(es) on my right wrist since I am left handed. never hand an issue. RM39 looks awesome!

I hope to one day see this in the flesh. Congrats and ENJOY! 

Thanks, it still gets more wrist time than all my other watches, so the novelty has not worn off yet!

ANY remote chance you can wear the watch with a suit?

I wear double cuff shirts to work every day - I normally wear chain cufflinks which give a bit more space than "pivot" cufflinks. 

i just stopped by Cellini at there was an RM39 in the window!!!  WOW!!  huge watch and stunning!!!
