Team,
Around December 9th, a dear friend "captured" an Eterna Valjoux 72.
I took some pics and we discussed here.

It so happens that my friend has other targets and yesterday we agreed on a simple trade.
Now its mine!As part of my plans for 2014 and beyond, I go to have few pieces and, if I'm lucky, some interesting vintage ones, not many.
In any case, I got it, removed the bracelet (at this point everyone knows that I'm not a bracelet person), put a soft pigskin strap and ... I'm happy.
Here some morning shots. I will do better ones as soon my watchmaker do a full maintenance (no polishing, please).
1) The "Phantom bezel" and now I notice that chronograph minute sub dial has a blue tone. Cool.
2) Need to check if the hour chronograph hand is correct. Black? I don't think so. Nothing that a rhodium bath cannot fix.
3) Amazing deep dial.
4) Movement shot. Dry as a bone, IMHO. Just notice that this is my first Valjoux 72 (726). Got a poor man Daytona.

5) To finish, a "Blomman (pat pending?) styled shot.
On a summary, love the case, dial, hands and movement (Look Vlad, NO DATE).
I will do a full review when it returns from the watchmaker (that is spending his much needed vacations).
Cheers,
Nilo
