This one was a lucky catch. An ad in a french collectors market, a friend who warns me, and a meeting with the seller.

... a magnificent U/G Polerouter.

I like these watches so much!

I own a conventional example (not diver) which shows "Polarouter" on the dial, which was the original name, being changed to Polerouter later.

These are very classic watches, very elegant and a pleasure to have on your wrist. I enjoy mine very much, and can imagine you also enjoy yours.

Let me say, that regretably I only have one: a non diver, first generation "Polarouter" De Luxe, that is, previous to change its name for "Polerouter". Its movement is also the one used previously to the adoption of the classic micro rotor. It is an automatic movement, with bumper rotor, caliber 138SS.

I will be more than pleased to answer to your kind invitation to show it. Let me take a little time to prepare a short post with its history, and photographs of its interesting movement. My example also has a a little interesting "extra" as you´ll see when I show it.

well, if it's a nico post, it must be special. and my, my, my there are polerouters and there are polerouters.

this one is very nice.

mine may not be a twin crown SC sub, but it is a nice and clean single crown super compressor as you know. i posted pics of it on the later post by Abel.
