Thanks for the New Year wishes, PP. What watch do you wear when out in the snow? I was wondering at what temperature lubricants start to thicken up and slow the balance wheel? I guess a watch benefits from body warmth, and if a Speedmaster can function during a space walk, then this is not a practical issue. These are just some musings from someone who lives in a temperate climate; snow is only to be found on our highest peaks in the dead of winter.

This year I wore a watch designed by GG and it behaved perfectly.....

We were very cold.....

As far as the reception, I never had any problems anywhere in the Alps....

Maybe I should buy a camera that will be attached on my helmet....
