Horological Meandering

I love chronographs personally, use them a lot. Same with GMT/dual time watches. 

i stopped bothering to keep my calendars / moonphases current and don't think i've ever used chronographs (though both sure are pretty to look at).

Time-only and dual time are the only functions I ever actually use, everything else is something to fool around with occasionally as a 'trinket', and self-evidently a date if it happens to be present on the dial........ Great question, cheers, Filip

Most used diving bezel as 60-min chronograph, least used the date doesn't help I can't read most of them anymore without glasses but that's the way it goes!

hence my preference for time only watches. So if I had to name one complication, it would have to be an ultra thin watch!

I hardly ever use the chronograph on my Vacheron CdV and only for pure pleasure.

The back side power reserve on my LUC Quattro Spirit and on my Grand Seiko SLGW005 are very useful.

I’m happy to have the date when I wear my Alpine Eagle, but I wear it rarely.

Time is what interests me in a watch, the rest is secondary.

I love the way chronographs look but in reality rarely use them, I have a much more accurate chrono on the phone.

perpetual calendars and GMT‘s.

And I appreciate Tourbillons (which are no complications - I know) and Minute Repeaters.

but they are gorgeous to look at. I hardly use any complication like chrono and calendars but I admire the mechanical aspects of these complications. Daily usage wise, I prefer to wear a watch with no complication as I only need to wind and go. I detest using push pins to set the calendar as it is cumbersome. I'm fascinated by the Journe Resonance because the resonance works without having a mechanical link between the 2 balances, and I can use it like a GMT.
