And my expectations have been far exceeded. The fact that the hands are dead-on aligned at each hour (and dead parallel to the dial) and the seconds hand can be made to pass over 12, dead-on at each minute (the Sistem 51 doesn’t hack), is incredible in my opinion. The bezel is also dead-on aligned. Oh, and the date is dead square in the window. All of these things almost shouldn’t exist in a watch like this one. The strap will be changed, but is very soft and supple, and the hardware is nicely cast. And on that note, I really do particularly love the texture of the case, bezel and crown material (whatever the exact plastic compound is). Overall, this is a very nice watch that anyone would be proud to own and wear. And 90 hours of power reserve? What?!
But my rotating bezel is seized in position after several ocean swims. Will try soaking it in tap water to see if I can free it. Fortunately it was set to 12 on 12 or it would annoy me even more
