I owned the Patek in YG 20 years ago and it was spectacular.
Without a doubt my choice.

If I had to choose than the GP of course… its history is unbeatable!
Well, the Patek is quite unique ( movement and case )... But both is definitely the way to go.

So much to love... including the screws that 'line up' nicely.
Love the shaping so you see the entire wheel... and care enough to shape bits uniformly. They did produce a lot at 450 made, and PP took the time and effort for a proper movement.
I would choose Patek's 5100.
I like the shaped caliber and the shape of the case.
Whereas I've never warmed up to GP's 3 gold bridges tourbillons. It's hard for me to say why. Too robust and regular, too many screws. Just my taste (or lack of it) of course.

The PP is an amazing piece. But the GP is wholly unique. Go with your gut.
Patek, undoubtedly, for me. I prefer when watches have a dial
And I would consider a Cabaret, too.

The PP has a wonderful movement but at 51mm long, it is not suitable for the smaller wristed folk, a category that I fall into.
