I still think it's a valuable addition to the history of dive watches...not to mention it is actually attainable without a second mortgage. AND a JB Champion jubilee bracelet too!

No matter if this, the Sub or the FF were first,
your watch is just such a lovely piece in its own right and it can stand its own against any other Vintage Diver IMHO!

I did think that the Perezcope piece was interesting though. He seems to be pretty thorough in his research.
Absolutely, the research he does is absolutely
detective-like, I don't know any other watch related journalist that does such thorough investigating and nobody else uncovered so many shady practices in the watch industry, especially with auction houses. He has my utmost respect for this, we need more journalists like him and less paid honeycoat-story writers.
