I was quite smitten by the laureto as well as the submersible with the blue dial. What doesn’t show from the picture is the blue dial is lacquered while the black on the other Submersible is mate…
and also not a fan of that GP model. I think the IWC 43 is fantastic and has 100mt water resistance + easy to change straps (is not so user friendly on a panerai or GP).
No I don’t but most of the GP review I could find where rate accuracy is mentioned does not seem that good…but to your point I do not know for a fact on this one

That leads us to the BP 43 which is clearly based on an iconic series of pilots' watches. One of the very few worthy offerings from their current catalogue.
A really diverse group, but my first reaction is that I'd like to wear (or at least to try on! :-) the blue-dialed sub....Plus, you've been building an impressive Panerai collection recently, so I wouldn't stop at least for a while...;-) Cheers.
The group being diverse here had more to do with watches that were in stock which was not that much! I do plan to add a submersible to my panerai collection for sure …

And that blue dial one just moved to the top of that list! Just not sure if this will be my next purchase just yet…😉
Good point my friend, thought I must say all my current Panerai (which all share the P3000 manual movement - the submersible have the P9xxx) actually have amazing accuracy

They all are at + or - 2 sec/day! To be honest I went to try the new omega chronoscope which was the main reason for my visit…but was disappointed with how it felt in the flesh, so started to look at other stuff for fun!
