In my opinion Breitlings best line of watches...other than the original chronomats...

That 46mm version looks large for your wrist — but, I bet the 43mm version would do just fine 😉
For the most part, with the exception of vintage models, Breitling itself doesn’t get much love here. Unfortunately, Breitling in the Schneider era became known more for its excesses, which turned off many. But, there were some gems from that era, as well — the Transocean Chronograph and the SuperOcean Heritage, to name just a couple. Georges Kern Is trying to re-integrate a sense of Breitling’s heritage in Its new offerings, which is a positive development. Whether that leads to Breitling becoming more popular as a brand remains to be seen.
Yes the newer 43MM versions have been tempting to me...
Breitling was my introduction to nice watches as I bought a SuperOcean Chronograph when I was 21 and still in college!... I took have of my savings to that point in life and bought this Breitling...
The last 10 years or so i feel most of their offerings were to large and my taste changed quite a bit...especially after i researched Omega before I could afford another watch...
But I still love the look of the navitimer and the classic Chronomats... Unfortunately i traded my SuperOcean Chrono in to fund my 1st Speedmaster...which was also traded in..lol
I have almost pulled the trigger on some of their offerings from the early 2000's as they are very affordable but have not...i think if i went back to Breitling it would be for the 43MM Navitimer! Your post of the Montbrilliant Datora inspired me to try on my bosses B1!

Hi D I would venture to say that all of my watches are in pristine condition. This was one of my first true chronographs. I gifted that one to my son-in-law. You need good vision to read that Bezel Enjoy your weekend my friend, best regards, Tony [nt]

IF i had your collection i would keep them as pristine as possible!
I tend to be rough on bracelets and and bezels for some reason... all my watches which get a lot of wrist time always finds something to scratch themselves on!!

I’ve always appreciated the Navitimer collection
For now, there Navitimers in my collection, my only Breitling is from the Chronomat family.
These black and white dialed watches are separated by 10 years in vintage and they represent a a big part of my journey through this hobby. One close to the beginning, one close to the present. The Breitling is built to be strong, dependable and dapper, while the Ressence the realization of one man’s creative genius. Both are powered by ETAs which tend to go about their business without fuss.
It’s interesting how my tastes have changed over the years, but I just love black dials.
