As a set, Omega. Individual pieces, Omega..
Not a big fan of daytos, hulks, gmts and SDs in general but if tweaked while staying within the lineup..
Change the white dial dayto to the black
Change the Hulk to a Kermit or a 114060
Change the Pepsi to that discontinued 2-tone YG GMT (I'm a child of the 80s)
Retain the Batman (not a big fan and I actually prefer the all black but that's going to look like a sub)
Retain the SD (not a big fan of the bezel but can't turn a blind eye to that dial and that complication)
.. and I might have a harder time.
I'm not knocking the Rolex lineup by the way. I do appreciate the allure of those pieces.
Now if we talk resale.. hahaha! Just kidding :p
Interesting how you can get the Trilogy for the price of that Dayto, have change left over, and still paradoxically appreciate the dayto and the trilogy on their own merits and see "value" on either.

It’s all about having fun, glad you had it...
I’m also puzzled by the Trilogy set value and can only blame Omega for the limited edition game they have been playing.
In terms of quality, I think both are comparable so it’s good for people who appreciate your favorite brand 😂
The Rolexes may be higher volume than some Omegas yet more “desirable” but anyways....let’s not get into the resale discussion.

The trilogy pieces are awesome. The SD is interesting but unfortunately way too bulky.
The GMT’s are very useful.

Actually the SD at 42mm is quite ok even for my almost 7” bony wrist.
The Trilogy bracelets can be a little better if it’s got some tapering and less bulky clasp.

I agree on the bracelets’ lacking tapering. It’s the only criticism I would also have, although they are compact enough to be elegant
Great to hear the SD wears so well! I once tried it and seemed immense due to the bulk, although the diameter is very ok in theory.
Maybe I need to try it on again.

That’s a very nice line-up you’ve got there.
Main attractions are the Sky-Dweller and the 50th anniversary Speedmaster with shoe print on it’s back. By the way, the Sky-Dweller is much less bulky, even rather elegant on the wrist, to my experience (wrist size circa 19-20 cm).

I agree too the Skydweller wears ok on my wrist and not that bulky, but it’s shows bigger relative to the other 40mm Rolexes.

A perfect group of siblings here. For these sports/tool watches, my vote goes to Rolex. But you have some heavy metal Omegas as well here, they don‘t need to hide at all!

That was kind of my initial concern about Rolexes since it’s easy to recognize but their built quality is so good so I start having a few more.

Absolutely, they are all icons: the Sub, the GMT, the Dayto.
But put them on a Nato, and nobody will recognize them as a Rolex! I was really surprised to see the different reaction of almost everybody.
Makes me wonder of how much of Rolex‘s brand value actually resides in the Oyster and Jubilee bracelets, not in Subs and GMTs...

I never like the maxi-case of new subs and GMTs. So Omega for me.
If it were between explorer 1 , datejust, vs omega then its even.
The new Maxi case is kind of sharp on the case edges...
I also like the Oysters, smooth.
