The wearing pleasure for a watch has nothing to do with it‘s price.
Proof is this Longines Avigation "Big Eye" chronograph.
A very nicely designed homage watch from Longines. The overall quality of the execution (especially the dial) defies the chosen price point.
In fact I would rate it equal to watches costing up to twice as much!
Good proportions with a 41 mm diameter, a height below 15 mm and a lug-to-lug width of 48.5 mm make it pretty wrist friendly.
Movement is an ETA column wheel chronograph vaguely based on the 7750 (the wobbling is present 
),with very good regulation at +1-2 sec/day.

All in all a very strong offering from Longines that has very little to none competition at the chosen price point.
And yes, beyond the usual big names there are quite a few other reasonably priced and well made watches available that have an interest for a watch collector.

It would have been even better with a manual winding ETA Chrono movement, but I had the opportunity to see it in the metal and it is a very nice looking watch. Thanks for putting the light

I really like this Longines Chrono, but it's just a little bit too big and thick for my liking.
Still underestimated
Nice! I think as a classical watch brand Longines still is underestimated. High time to focus a bit more on it ;-)
They have a few very nice watches in their catalogue,but...
...also quite a lot of lesser attractive pieces. The overall direction of the brand was (and is) not always clear to me.
Maybe they should concentrate stronger around some few core themes. Brands like Oris,Bell&Ross,Tudor have been very successful with this approach.

please allow me to share my mondia chronograph the I purchased in Italy (mmm Sorrento) long time ago, still great looking and a pleasure to wear.
BTW I never saw the same model anywhere on the internet, does anyone know it? It has a 5570 movement
A beautiful Longines chronograph.
I tried it, it felt great on the wrist, I really liked the way it looked. A lot of watch at a fair price.
