in reality it’s closer to the seadweller?
Both have the dot markers on the bezel. Both have helium escape valves. Both bigger than 40mm Both have red text Both had no cylclopse ( previous version)
I feel with you but you don't do it better. The Seamaster 300 Master Co-Axial is the actual model that should be compared to the Submariner.

The Planet Ocean as competitor for the Sea-Dweller and the Overseas 2000V as competitor for the Nautilus 5711 and Royal Oak 15202. Also the A. Lange 1815 as competitor for the 5170... just a few examples.
When I was younger and stupider. Hit 135 once, it was an experience. Easy to kill yourself. I was wearing a 100 meter swiss army watch with no sctew down, the seals completely gave out a week later when I was in the shower. Now with dive computers and a better understanding of air mixes it's far more safe than ever. A lot of divers in my area go past 100 to dive wrecks. It depends how into it you get and if it makes sense for your area. It also depends if you think all the interesting things are above 60 feet or below 100 feet.
