Lange 1815 Chrono
This is perhaps my favourite serially produced chronograph offered by the current market. It’s the 1815 Chrono Boutique Edition. I prefer it over the Datograph Up/Down due to its smaller size and absence of date windows. But that of course is just my personal preference.
I think that aside from the boutique edition, the first generation ones are also very appealing, especially the pink gold black dial one with contrasting white registers.
I hope it doesn’t look too big on my wrist...
No it does not look too large on your wrist
and those who know me will know I am pretty critical about how a watch should not be too large for the wrist! 
My question for you though is do you find the watch heavy? I ask because I once owned the 1815 chrono in rose gold and had to sell it within 3 weeks of ownership as it was too heavy compared to the watches I was accustomed to. I agree that the boutique edition is a lovely reiteration of the chronograph but I am also partial to the white gold model with the black dial!

It is indeed a heavy watch by all measures. However I tend to find the weight that a heavy watch exerts on the wrist rather soothing. I once tried on a first generation datograph with its original platinum bracelet and quite enjoyed it... On the other hand, I find it uncomfortable when a watch is so light that I can’t feel it’s presence on the wrist.
I agree with you that the black dial one is very attractive. Here’s a photo of it on the wrist...

This watch just gets better and better for me...
I always loved the blue because it changes its hue so much in different lights.
However your first pic shows that even the white dial can play tricks... It looks almost silver...
I've been blown away by this version. How one brand produced the Dato AND this 1815 chrono shows how special they are... Feel free to share more in different lighting... I love the second shot also, the painted numerals just pop.

The dial indeed changes its colour rather noticeably under different lightings... The blue becomes most pronounced under direct sunlight. Here is another photo...

And having seen other 1815s in the flesh, I know that your pictures (no matter how good!!) can never really bring out how the painted numerals and text just pop out, like a dollop of paint perfectly touched onto the dial. I just love it.

I’m in fact also considering acquiring a pink gold 1st generation model with black dial and contrasting white subdials.
