Anu's next video is up - she chats with watch collector Andy Mastorakis about Vintage VDB. Andy explains design concept, history behind the brand, and guides us through several of the watches.
Vintage VDB doesn't get much chatter here on PuristSPro. Any PuristS here own any Vintage VDB watches? VDB stands for Vintage Daily Beater btw.
... creations born from Stephan Obst's love and passion for horology presented by fan, friend, customer : Andy Mastorakis ... interesting to hear a bit of inside information , cheers to both of them
the problem I have is the shear size of them. No doubt they are an outstanding everyday watch, but they are not small. Having parted ways with other larger watches because of the size, I am hesitant to buy another big watch. But I haven't heard anything but positive comments from owners and reviewers.
Amazingly enough, I gave some coverage to VDB several years ago . . .

. . . on our News Central forum. Striking designs with vintage movements. A good choice for someone who leans Panerai's way, desires an indie, and can 'go big'.
Yep I have one... one of those impulse buys that afterwards was wondering what I had been drinking at the time... it is still sat in a box somewhere unworn.
I like the concept of them, maybe I am just past the huge watch stage.

Actually I talked here about one piece few days ago The VDB MARLIN UNIQUE PIECE, that belongs to a friend. I like the vdb’s not my favorite kind of watch but I like them.
