Horological Meandering

Anthony posted pics of the watch earlier...had to look at it.

Worse, I even made a post about I but  it seems I never published it

I did post it on Instagram and it was viewed over 15,000 times so I guess I’m not the only one that likes this watch 

Some people had some questions about the price and we have to agree it is a lot higher than the 17.01

But then again you can’t compare both watches, the 17.01 was a no brainer... you saw it, saw the price and ordered it

For that price you don’t have to think twice, this is probably the reason why I saw selling them on chrono24 and other sites for 3 times the listprice 

Now the 19.01 is something else.... euro 6k is a lot more. But after seeing the watch ( when Ming and 3 other involved people behind the brand were kind enough to have a drink with me near the salon QP in London last week) I can only say the watch is completely different too.

The 17.01 was something for fun. Nice and well made  but not something very special. While the 19.01 is something spectacular 

A nice recognisable case, nicer lugs, a very cool sapphire on the front and the back

And a superior Schwarz-Etienne 100 hrs power reserve movement.

All of this is so different from the 17.01 that the price had to be different too. A BMW 1-Series is a nice and good car... but you can’t compare it with a 5-series 

We all agreed the 17.01 was a hell of a deal.... I strongly believe the 19.01 is also a good deal. Much more expensive but you also get much more. 

Again I do believe that the same quality but with another more famous name on the dial would cost A LOT more

Euro 6k might sound a lot when the first one was 6 times cheaper but what you get for the 6k.... it might be a bargain again

I handled the watch and I liked it a lot, and the price seemed very reasonable.
