In the mid-Sixties I wanted to drop math in high school, but my counselor wouldn't let me go to auto shop - she sent me into electronics shop instead. I didn't know we were on the cusp switching from vacuum tube to solid state devices - but I learned the theory and practice of both.
Anyway, 15-20 years ago I found this great Roman Numeral clock from Mr Harry Landis in Massachusetts. He originally distributed this through Heathkit, who sent you the parts to assemble it yourself. Back in the day ...
