I naively thought the Breguet 7067 la Tradition GMT would close the books for me in 2013 and was pleasantly surprised when the dealer called last week to say the Lang & Heyne Friedrich III I ordered some time ago had arrived.
This is the third Lang & Heyne I acquired (after the Friedrich August I and Konig Albert Saxonia monopush chronograph). I was primarily attracted by the smaller case size (40 mm) and the black silver dial/rose gold case combo.
If my understanding is correct, a Japanese collector commissioned the production of the first piece in steel and mine was the second piece, hence the 'No. 2' on the dial.
Here are some hastily taken pictures:
How I love those Cathedral hands and the Roman numerals!

I couldn't wait to try the watch on my wrist. It feels very comfortable - both the size and the weight seem right. I imagine the steel version would be lighter ...

In case you are interested, here are some pictures of the two 'older' Lang & Heynes in my possession:
The Friedrich August I has lovely Louis XV hands -

You really like this brand! I like the size of this one and the classic black dial is exquisite.
The mono pusher is my dream one though.
