I've been a big VH fan, and a big AHCI fan in general.
I first purchased a Classic in 2004 and wore it for several years until I sold it to buy something else. Later, I purchased a Goldpfeil and now that sits on the wrist of a fellow purist and good friend.
Finding myself remorseful of selling those watches, I recently was able to acquire not only another Classic but also a Antiqua as well, both in my favorite metal- RG.
I was afraid that I'd find the Classic a bit too small for my wrist as I'd since moved on to larger watches, but once strapped on, it looked absolutely perfect- just as it had before. The Antiqua also seems to be the perfect size. I was afraid that it would actually be too big, but it turned out to be just right! I find myself staring at both watches for long periods of time, just admiring the finishing of the movements and cases. Also, for those of you that have not seen, the Antiqua comes in a fantastic handmade winding box that is a piece of artwork itself! Gorgeously finished and matching the watch to a "T".
Here are a few quick snaps of my two babies...looks like its time to find a Trio now!
