My MIH watch finally arrived ! One month early and a belated birthday gift to myself ;-D  Was not expecting it to arrive so soon and it was sort of a surprise when the FEDEX guy snuck in and dropped it on my desk.  Some pictures to show my excitement in unwarping it.

 

And this is the case, here!

The Father of this watch is a genious, indeed.

You'll have years of pleasure enjoying this great watch. I've had mine just over a year and love it. Super watch and those behind it are the watchmakers worth supporting, together with the Museum, which benefits so many.

looks like i'll be a lucky man very soon as they are issuing them earlier than they thought hence Wylie's package. they wanted to check i was ok with getting it soon. how could i say no

I still can't believe the watch is indeed an annual calendar due to the minimalistic dial Sits very comfortable on my 6.75" wrist. 

Over the weekend I noticed that the month does not align properly with the day & date. I can just make out the font of the previous month at the top. See picture below. Is this normal. Contemplating sending it back to MIH to get it aligned. It's starting to bug me.... 

that sometimes during the day the date elements are aligned and sometimes they are not.  Look on it as 'rustic charm'

Here's what I did - just twirl things around for awhile, changing months and weeks, then get your book out and reset it to the proper date.

It looks OK for October now. MIH Embassy was prompt in attending to my question and offered to return the watch for repair. I guess I'll just monitor it for a couple weeks more before I send anything off to Switzerland
