The "waves" dial was designed as a way to celebrate their shared connection to the water (near which they each live in their own place) and to each other.

I like the feeling that a machine could never have produced such an engraving: here, hand engraving takes on its full meaning.

Admittedly, I love the engraving....
But the dial overall leaves me sort of neutral. I'd love to see this engraving in a shaped case!!....
I like the overall aesthetic beyond just the dial engraving.
Is this independent another hyped, overpriced brand?
If not, I’m interested to delve further into his offerings.

But demand is probably greater than the quantity they are able and willing to produce.
