Andersen for Asprey
Last week I visited Asprey in London to photograph the new world timer made by the atelier of Svend Andersen. As is my custom in the presence of such a fine dial, I brought along kit to allow me some 2.5 times macros of the guilloche and an overall view of the dial. Of recent, Andersen has certainly been producing some very fine work as a stand alone independent and also in their collaborative efforts.

What many people don't know, is that I was involved in the design direction of this World Timer although it is not exactly as I want it, but really it is something special
thanks to my ex-boss who arranged our introduction to the new management team, they are doing a good job of keeping the legacy going
I think they have been consistently releasing well designed watches over the last few years.
Pleasure. I did not take a decent photo of the whole watch so thought it worth while for others to see the website if unfamiliar with the watch.
This has always been a very interesting brand...
...that stays under the radar. The workmanship on this looks amazing...
Exceptionally fine. As good as any modern high end with the unique proposition of the guilloche pattern to boot.
