Yes it is. Yes it's that too.
Just arrived moments ago and the M.A.D.1 Red is light on the wrist at 84 grams including strap and clasp, very solid feeling, and is astonishingly attractive with a nice beefy strap.
Yes it's a lot of fun for the entire family! My Muse's 21 y/o daughter is here, she wants one.
Brilliant, brilliant design! The world needs more Max!!!
That is not only hugely attractive, but entirely practical which is somewhat of a rarity for M.B. designs . All that on top of being sold for a truly reasonable price makes the whole endeavor immensely appealing and MB&F a genuine leader in the independent segment.... Thanks for the shots! Cheers, Filip
Congrats!!!!!!!!!!! So excited for all the new owners of such a fun watch! I wasn't a lucky winner of the lottery but couldn't be more excited about this piece, the lucky owners, and how MB&F managed the release.

I hope this inspires new ways for brands to think about releasing watches to their fans, not the lottery model specifically, but balancing some notion of equity of accessibility with rewarding existing customers. The watch is super cool but even more than that I think it represents something the industry needs... badly... if it is to survive into a next generation of collectors.
So... while changing straps as found one i prefer a bit more there was a lesson. For those looking to stock up on watch bands, lug-to-lug is 24mm. While the lug width is 24mm, the stock springbars are 1.8mm / 26mm bent a bit in the middle. This gives clearance for the pointer at 6 o'clock position. At the 12 o'clock side you can use a 1.8mm / 24mm straight springbar if you desire. Not sure which site this band came from, i did try and find out.
