Saw something CRAZY in Monaco yesterday. The HM9 is UNBELIEVABLE in real life and wears well, even on smaller wrists like mine. Just wished it was more comfortable 😪

Agreed about being a work of art my friend. Just not very comfortable on my wrist, either due to the size or shape. I did pre-order an INCREDIBLE piece which I hope will be delivered this year so we will see 🤪😁

It's fascinating....
although more of a display piece in my mind, than something to actively wear.... My feelings is that most of his offering, as impressive as it is, is more geared to stationary display, than regular wear........ Cheers, Filip
They are actually remarkably comfortable to wear.
The size might not be to everyone’s liking but wearability works. I have a 6 3/4 inch wrist and I don’t feel the frog when it’s on.
I only met him (M.B.) once....
more than a decade ago when he was first starting out, at a dinner in L.A. I haven't had the chance to engage with him or his watches ever since, but I certainly look forward to seeing and trying some of them foreseeably. I don't think I am the type of customer he is aiming for, there are other equally interesting but more easily wearable watches out there, but I'm perpetually impressed with his work in pure horology terms

The Frog does wear super nice but this HM9 did fit as well as the Frog, at least on my wrist 🤷♂️
The HM models are indeed art sculptures for the wrist whereas the LM models are more traditional so fit more along the lines of a classic watch
Madness in the best way mon ami. I didn't get this one as I simply could not wear it often BUT I am expecting something AMAZING from Max and MB&F which I will happily show you when it gets delivered 😉😜
