As much as I like grey, I also have a thing for green. So, I couldn’t resist getting the olive strap to try on this Massena Ming…instead of the light beige strap it comes with. I don’t mind monochrome, but contrast between dials and straps can be attractive with the right combo.
This olive strap contrasts a bit more than the grey strap I previously had. But how does it strike you all…olive, grey, or beige? Or porque no los tres?? 🤔
Looks better with the black dial than the strap the watch came with!
I'm not a designer, so my opinion isn't qualified. But I'd order a green strap for this watch if I owned one!
Agreed, the original is a bit too bright perhaps.
You’ve got great taste, so that is the qualifier 👌🏼. You’ve got me thinking strongly that a greener green (eg pine green or emerald) would be even nicer than this olive green. But it’s all a matter of taste…and style 😎
I had to do a double take when I read “green”.
Maybe it’d clearer in broad daylight, but it looked black.

You are correct, it does look darker in the pic…
although it is a drab/muted green. Olive is still a fair characterization. Perhaps this other pic outside with other shades of green will show the color more.

The green gives it character in a very subdued, stealthy way. I think it’s a great combo.
Very interesting how you both highlighted the strap’s effect on the character of the watch.
But that point is very well made, and likely accounts for why I much prefer this strap to the others. Thank you very much.

I have mine on a light grey strap. Personally, I wasn't too fond of the strap it shipped with (purely from a visual regard). The sage here compliments the dial nicely.
Very nice. I had it on a grey strap too, which is the other front runner.
The quick change system makes it easy to switch these. Many colors would work, each giving a different vibe. I wish they had a deep purple to try. 🤔
