Well, dear Fellow Members, just after Gerard (jlux) posted yesterday his thread about his wonderful 5227 R, I made the same move, please see the result yourself:
Originally came the watch with this classical, darker brown crocodile strap:
I found it too conventional, a bit boring, therefore I made this move:
I call it now funky, because of Moser and because of the green lining of the strap:
I am very happy and feelin now funkyyy!
A strange pair:

Great result !
This definitely gives the watch a fresher and younger look.
I also like a lot your other Moser : the Heritage Funky Blue is very high on my list!

The lighter strap makes all the difference.

Excellent choice my friend
To be honnest I cannot say that I dislike the original darker brown strap but I definitely like the new lighter one too and it's nice to change from time to time.
A strap is so easy to change and it gives you the the feeling of having a new watch without spending a lot.
The austruch option is nice and timeless, excellent option

Well, I didn’t say as well that I don’t like the dark brown OEM strap!
I have changed it to the ostrich just because I found it more matching to the character of Moser watches and the colours of the watch. Moser is young, fresh, impudent and sexy at least for me, I couldn’t imagine the same ostrich strap for a Lange..
Apropos, Moser: I first saw yours in the metal, just back from the Spa, do you still have it? Which model was that?

Mine was a Endeavour Concept platinum case (LE in 6 pcs)
It was from the first batch of Concept so with the beautiful manual wind movement (the present Concept now comes with the automatic caliber)
