This is a really beautiful piece unique of the De Bethune DB28 Maxichrono
This bespoke DB28 Maxichrono was ordered by a famous collector and maybe one day he will introduce his watch here... in the meantime enjoy this wristshot. The aim of the specifications was to create a kind of "vintage" atmosphere for this watch. I love the outcome!

One some were told not to post...
Sometimes it is sad for the owner of a watch to discover his/ her own future watch on watch fora before he/ she can himself enjoy his/ her watch.
This also applied to other watches seen recently at the workshops of Philippe Dufour, Kari Voutilainen & Romain Gauthier.
I am therefore delighted but surprised to see this wonderful piece presented here and now.

Nothing bad meant by it...
During the recent Independents GTG we have seen quite some pieces before the customers got to see them and were asked not to post pictures of them before they were delivered. There was a very similar DB28 with the same case material combination (slightly different dial) that we got to see at De Bethune - maybe that was the source of confusion

I already adore the "standard" De Bethune and I have to admit that this bespoke creation is really charming. I love how the maison combined the different shades of brown and the gold case sublimates everything. Congratulations to the owner. Best
