The Overseas was off my wrist for just a few weeks getting an adjustment to the strap, and boy, did I miss it!
As it will play a critical role in my summertime activities, it is back on my wrist not a moment too soon. Thank you Vacheron Constantin (especially Eduardo and Andre')!

...just an adjustment to the strap. But even so, yes, it is nice to get them back. I have one in for service and I know it is going to be a long haul, and that is fine. But I really cannot be without the Overseas for too long.

It really does make for a great summertime watch. The rubber strap is perfect for the heat and humidity in addition to being extremely comfortable to wear. The chrono function is perfect for timing steaks on the grill.

I am happy if my poor pictures have gotten you to pay more attention. It is funny, the other day, when I got the Overseas back on my wrist, my good friend, with whom I was traveling, saw the look on my face and declared, "I think that is your favorite watch." I didn't say he was wrong.

I really like all the versions of the Overseas Chronograph that I have seen, limited and standard issue alike. But I must admit, I have a preference for the series of several LEs made in approximately 2007-2008 primarily for the Japanese and American markets, of which mine is an example. These LEs included some specific design elements that I think took the Overseas to a new level.
I can't wait to see what the next generation of Overseas will look like.
