Overseas dilemma
Or should I say Chicolini's dilemma, because in his recent post he explained how he had considered the white gold version before finally being won over by the rose gold one!

Two Vacheron Constantin Overseas Perpetual Calendar Ultra-Thin, both measuring 41.5 x 8.1 mm and powered by self-winding caliber 1120 QP:
- Ref. 4300V/220G-H151 in white gold with a Burgundy-lacquered dial
- Ref. 4300V/220R-H144 in rose gold with a Golden-lacquered dial

For me, this is an easy choice.

While both are enticing, the burgundy at least on pictures appeals to me more 😊👌🏻👍🏻
None of the two is for me, but, predictably, I prefer the rose gold one.

Both look very appealing at first sight. The rose gold dial
seems more settled and more soothing on the long term. The red dial is perhaps the most catchy and bright one at first glance and the excitement drops to fast and far.
With the bracelet, the white gold. With an appropriate strap (to my taste) probably the rose gold.
I am not into coloured gold...
so no dilemma for me.
Even then, I'd go for this anthracite dial variant:

I have tried both and for me, white gold is it. Alrhough i wish it’s 1-2 mm smaller. But the 1120 perpetual movement is second to none in thickness ( or rather thinness) - drooling.
Thank you for this comparison — even though neither truly sing to me…
And pending seeing the raspberry dial in person—it must be hard to capture the nuances of the color — it would be the white gold version for me.
