Unfortunately I ordered a different VC first and when I came to order the platinum model, it was out of production. Still love the dial, case and the movement. I also think there was a different RG model with another guilloche pattern.

The platinum version is beautiful indeed.

A very special reference indeed, and let's not forget the exceptional movement which in terms of design and finishing surpasses the obvious competitors by a wide margin. There was a Kari "review" of sorts made years ago ... Can't get wrong with any of the references but this is my personal choice

The caliber clearly stands out, all the more so since it’s fairly easy to service (so I’ve been told).

No corners cut! This is a clear advantage over my Patek 6119G where they missed the oppprtunity to make 2-3 inward angles to please us (sophisticated watch crowd).

the regular anthracite dial or the CEP are very attractive, even though I am not into such "simple" watches.

but would probably choose the rose gold/dark dial.

And platinum/anthracite looks very good too. But I’m also attracted to the rose gold/dark dial…
