What a beauty...
The Mercator range, the Metier's D'arts (especially the Masques collection) are truely timeless, and original thinking when it comes to timepieces - it is when I see these, that I cannot complete discard VC as a true haute horology brand, even if I feel they haven't displayed much of this in the last few years.
And for such a 'double-retrograde' complication, it seems quite easy to tell the time on it.
Thanks for sharing - someone somewhere has a few of these sitting around, would be great to see a group shot of Mercators!

The dials are gorgeous, but the idea behind them-maps of discovery-makes them what they are. Your photos of these watches are wonderful.

I saw it in Geneva Boutique fo sale many years ago
It was YG. Had map of Russia. Boutique had #20 out of 20 for sale.
I recall a yellow gold dial
It had the entire map of Russia. I think had some cyrillic writing... cannot be 100% on the last fact, since it’s been several years ago. Definitely before the Russian boutique was opened.
