A surprise for me: the Freak now comes with a date display
I know somebody who maybe will not convinced by this move (despite the nice instegration of the date window) but I suppose it meets some market expectations. But this watch is not the addition of the date - full stop. It also features the Dual Ulysse Escapement (clearly visible) and as you can see it on the picture, the famous "rotating bridge" was fully redesigned for a lighter visual effect and of course, for an optimized performance.

Well, I am not too disturbed by the quite nice integration of the date...
Even if I would have preferred without. The new design of the dial is interesting. I still have to see it in the flesh, though...

let's not try civilise the Freak! This isn't an improvement in my books.
Of course I love the date ....
... but I woould have preferred a typeface that does not completely ignore the rest of Freak's typography.

I didn't see this in the flesh...
but based on your picture FX, I am not a fan. I just think on a watch with so much going on already it is quite distracting from the simplicity yet complex watch.... of course that is just my opinion and when I get a chance to try it on I might change my mind!
